Rosedale, CA
Lighting for larger northwest-side lots, long approaches, and mature trees.
Overview
Rosedale properties often put the far corner of the yard a long way from the nearest exterior outlet. That distance is the real design constraint: voltage has to hold from the transformer to the last fixture on the run.
We plan heavier gauge cable, split zones, and sometimes a second transformer location so a large property lights evenly instead of fading out at the edges.
What we install here
Most local projects are a combination of two or three of these.

Local detail
Larger lots usually come with larger trees, and mature specimens are the best thing a landscape lighting system can work with. Two or three fixtures at varying distances light a big canopy far better than one bright uplight at the trunk.
Long driveways benefit from restraint. A few well-placed fixtures at the turns and the gate read better than a line of path lights down both sides.
Process
We identify the driveway, gates, mature trees, outdoor living areas, and the practical route between them.
Transformer capacity, voltage drop, and cable length are planned around the scale of the lot.
Driveway, trees, entry, and backyard areas can be grouped so each part is useful without lighting everything at once.
We adjust beam angles and brightness at night so long approaches feel intentional instead of overlit.
